Hi, I’m Lakshyajyoti Bora, a SCOM (System Center Operations Manager) Consultant with more than 9 years of experience working with SCOM and Microsoft monitoring technologies.
Over the years, I’ve worked extensively with SCOM alerts, Management Packs (MPs), DLLs, monitoring configurations, troubleshooting, and day-to-day operational challenges. Whenever I needed to investigate an alert, understand a Management Pack, or find a solution to a SCOM-related issue, System Center Wiki was often my go-to resource. It was an invaluable source of information and reference throughout my journey with SCOM.
Unfortunately, System Center Wiki is no longer available. Having relied on it for many years, I wanted to create something similar—a community-driven knowledge base where SCOM professionals can find useful information, troubleshooting guidance, references, and solutions in one place.
This blog is my attempt to recreate that spirit of System Center Wiki and give back to the SCOM community by sharing my knowledge, experiences, troubleshooting tips, and useful resources.
My goal is to build a practical and easy-to-use knowledge base that can help SCOM administrators, developers, IT professionals, engineers, and support teams solve common—and sometimes uncommon—SCOM challenges.
Hi, I’m Micheal Longmailai! I am co-contributor to this community. I bring a deep focus on Microsoft Cybersecurity, covering Azure Cloud & Security, Windows Server environments, licensing, and targeted white-box pentesting for endpoints and servers.
My consulting work as a Consultant, Fractional CISO and Fractional CTO spans diverse sectors—including banking & insurance, power, NGOs, professional services, and animal pharmaceuticals. I love helping organizations tackle complex security challenges across the Microsoft stack.
Off the clock, I swap my keyboard for an 800mm lens to track down wildlife and birdlife. Excited to connect and collaborate with you all!
